Year 6 residential to Mill on the Brue

Year 6 children and staff had a fantastic time at Mill on the Brue this week, taking part in so many activities, from climbing and zip-lining to tunnelling and canoeing. The children were brilliantly behaved and threw themselves into every activity. They also demonstrated excellent teamwork, kindness and support for one another, both during the activities and in their tents. Mealtimes were a huge success, and they were certainly hungry after all the fresh air and exercise! Everyone enjoyed plenty of delicious home-grown food, with many of the vegetables coming straight from the on-site vegetable garden. We are also proud to have been named Mill on the Brue ‘Zero Heroes’ for producing no food waste at mealtimes during our stay.
