As part of the Church of England’s Annual Season of Prayer, we have replicated the cross that can be found in Holy Trinity Church Yard. Our cross is just outside the hall.
I spoke to the children on Monday briefly about the cross as part of our collective worship. We were thinking about friends and were saying thank you for friends who listen to us and give us their time and attention. I shared some of the ideas on this link for ideas about prayers. They are practical ways of praying for our world and all that we care about. I was impressed by the knowledge that some children had about the season of Pentecost which follows this 10 day prayer season. You might like to try some of them.
